This week in Falcon class….

·        In Literacy this week we have been busy retelling the story of 'Handa's Surprise.' We read the story and watched a short video clip before writing down the main events. We have also been busy writing messages in our Mother's Day cards.

·        In Maths this week we have been busy recognising 2D shapes and describing their properties. We have also been working on recognising and ordering numbers to 20.

·        In our Topic work this week we have been learning a song for our class assembly next week. In science, we took part in an investigation to find out which material was the most visible in the dark and in art we have been busy making Mother's Day cards and gifts - we hope you like them!

     Finally, a big thank you to all of the Mums and Grandmas who came into school on Friday afternoon. :)
