This week in Falcon Class...

  • In Literacy this week we have been reading the story ‘Harry and the dinosaurs go on holiday!’ We talked about the kind of things that Harry might need to take with him on holiday and then wrote a list of what he should take. We also looked at an image from the story and wrote a caption to describe what was happening.
  • In Maths this week we have been working on our data handling skills! We carried out some surveys to find out which were the most popular colours, food and pancake toppings in the class.
  • In our Topic work this week we have been busy making seaside pictures, linked to the story that we have been reading this week. We talked about what you might find on a beach and compared it to Caythorpe. We also took part in the pancake races and talked about why we eat them at this time of year. On Friday we celebrated World Book Day and had a great time looking at all of the book-themed creations!
