-In Literacy this week we read the story "Stick Man" by Julia Donaldson. We talked about the problems that Stick Man faced in the story and thought about what the different characters might be thinking. We then wrote our own thought bubbles for each character.
-In Maths this week we have been solving addition and subtraction word problems. We had to pick out the key information in each problem and then work out what we needed to do. We are trying very hard to count on and back in our heads or using our fingers, without using objects.
-In our Topic work this week we had a go at drawing the different types of plants that we found in our school grounds. We also painted a picture of a scene from 'Stick Man' and then planned a science experiment to find out what would happen if a plant didn't receive any water. On Friday we had fun dressing up in our dancing clothes and took part in different types of dances.
