· In Literacy this week we planted some sunflower seeds. We then wrote a set of instructions to describe what we did, remembering to include a number at the beginning of each instruction.
· In Maths this week we have been working on counting in different ways e.g. counting in 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s. We have also had a go at recognising a variety of two-digit numbers and putting them in the correct order.
· In our Topic work this week we made some flowers with which we decorated our role play area. We also had lots of fun making dens, working together to decide on the size and structure of the den. On Friday we talked about the anniversary of the D-Day landings and took part in some WW2-related activities.
