This week in Falcon class….

•      In Literacy this week we have been reading the story 'The Enormous Turnip.' We sequenced the events in the story using pictures before retelling the story in sentences.
•      In Maths this week we have been learning about shape. We recapped the different types of 2D and 3D shapes and their properties before making different shapes using construction or drawing shape pictures.
•    In our Topic work this week we have been busy making cards and gifts for our Dads. We also began practising for Sports Day and continued our work on den-making. In science we looked at the different parts of a plant and their function.
