This week in Falcon class….

  •  In Literacy this week we have been producing a piece of independent writing. We have written a set of instructions explaining how to wash our hands. We have also been very busy learning a poem for our class assembly.
  • In Numeracy this week we have re-visited our work on shape, checking which shapes we were able to recognise, and whether we could explain their different properties e.g. the number of sides, corners etc.
  • In our Topic work this week we have been very busy being super scientists as part of ‘Science Week.’ We took part in three different activities across the week, including making and testing parachutes, investigating rafts and exploring the Antarctic. We have also been busy practising for our Class Assembly.
A big thank you to everyone who came to our Class Assembly. We enjoyed it and we hope you did to!

To celebrate Easter, Falcon Class will be holding an egg decorating competition. To take part, the children will need to bring in their decorated egg by Tuesday.
Good luck!
