- In Literacy this week we
have been thinking about where we go to school. We talked about the
village and made a mind-map of all of the places in Caythorpe. We then chose
one of those places and created an information page about them - we are
going to put the pages together to make a visitor’s guide to Caythorpe.
- In
Maths this week we have been learning about shape. We looked at the
properties of 2D shapes (how many sides and corners they have) and then
had a go at making some shapes of our own using straws or play dough.
- In
our Topic work this week we have begun a new science topic of ‘light and
dark.’ We went on a light hunt around school, looking for as many light
sources as possible. We have also been thinking about different places
that we have visited and we painted a picture of our favourite location.
