This week in Falcon class….

·        In Literacy this week we have been busy writing instructions. We talked about the model castles that we made this week and then wrote an instruction for each of the different stages.

·        In Maths this week we have been thinking about matching numbers and groups of objects. We looked at different number cards and had to find the correct number of objects to match. 

·        In our Topic work this week we have been thinking about materials. We looked at different classroom objects and talked about what they were made of. We then had a go at sorting the objects into different groups. On Thursday we were set a challenge to find the best material for a castle roof. We tested four different materials and found out what happened to them when they got wet.
