This week in Falcon Class...

 ·        In Literacy this week we have been thinking about our new topic of ‘castles.’ We talked about what we already knew about castles and wrote down a few facts. We then watched a short clip from ‘Shrek’ and had a go at describing the castle in the film.
·        In Maths this week we have been thinking about money. We talked about the different coins that we have and then used 1p coins to buy different items from our class shop. We then chose two different items and tried to work out how much it would cost to buy them both.
·        In our Topic work this week we have been thinking about our homes and how everyone’s home is different; we then painted a picture of our home for our display. We also began learning about our new science topic of ‘materials’ and went on a material hunt around the school.
