This week in Falcon class….

·         In Literacy this week we have been writing about our school visit to Rand Farm. We talked about what our favourite part of the day was and put our ideas into simple sentences.

·         In Maths this week we have been thinking about time. We talked about our daily routines and what time of day we did different activities. We then had a go at measuring how long different activities took and which activities were the shortest and which were the quickest.

·         In our Topic work this week we began making clay models of farm animals. We arranged the clay into the correct shapes and next week we will paint them the correct colours. On Tuesday we went on a school trip to Rand Farm and we all had a brilliant time, feeding and learning about the different animals. In Science we looked at what animals need to survive and we also had lots of fun exploring the new play equipment in our outdoor area.
