Literacy we have been busy writing a letter to Father Christmas, asking him to
bring us some lovely presents. We worked really hard on our sounding out and
tried to remember to include gaps between our words when writing sentences.
-In
Maths we have been recapping our work on addition and subtraction, trying to
add and subtract numbers in our heads and by using objects. We also tried to
remember how to write a number sentence.
-In our Topic work we made a start on our Christmas calendars. We also took part in
a science experiment to find out what happened to different objects when they
were stretched e.g. elastic bands, cotton wool and paper. We have also been
working very hard on our Christmas play!
