This week in Falcon Class....

·       In Literacy we have been thinking about our families and how all families are different. We looked at some photographs of our families and talked about what we enjoy doing most with them. We then drew a picture of our family and had a go at labelling the different people.

·       In Maths we have been singing lots of number songs, such as ‘5 little ducks…’ and ‘1,2,3,4,5…’ We also had a go at counting different groups of objects, making sure that we pointed to each object when counting. 

·       In our Topic work we had a go at painting a picture of our families which will be displayed in the classroom from next week. We also took part in our first PE lesson in the hall and we had a go at some cutting out, to make sure that we were holding the scissors properly. We also spent a lot of time outside, exploring our new environment! All in all, a fantastic first week at school!
