This week in Falcon Class...

This week has been a very special week in Falcon Class. We have performed our Christmas play three times in front of our families, as well as in front of the rest of the school. We have also made some Christmas tree decorations, and enjoyed our Christmas party, where we played some fantastic games. We also had a very special visit from Santa! On Friday the whole school took part in a Christingle Service at the church.

Our Christmas Nativity

This week we have been very busy, performing our Nativity three times! Take a look at some of our fantastic costumes!

 

This week in Falcon Class...

·     In Literacy this week we have been busy writing our letters to Santa. We tried to remember to use letter gaps between our words and to use our phonics to help us with our sounding out.

·     In Numeracy this week we have been making Christmas patterns using our special Christmas stamps. We used different colours to make patterns of up to four objects.  

·     In our Topic work this week we have been putting the finishing touches to our Christmas play. We have also been busy making snowmen Christmas cards for our families. We also had a look and a play with some old toys and thought about how toys have changed over the years; we also talked about whether we would want those toys for our Christmas presents this year – the answer was no! J

Our calendars!

This week we made a calendar for 2013. We used paint and sponges to create a pattern around the edge of our card, and then added a picture of our family in the centre. We then covered them in glitter to make them a little more festive. Take a look!
